Photovoltaic system for self-consumption — An economic viability study

In Portugal, the solar energy has little use, despite the legislation for renewable energy, particularly for self-consumption. This work aims to contribute to this problem, by conducting an economic evaluation study for a non-residential facility at the Polytechnic Campus of Viseu. The results suggest the importance of the sun energy using, especially in countries with strong sunlight, such as Portugal.
