Analysis of dynamic performance based inverter fed single phase induction motor

This paper presents the prediction of dynamic and steady state operation of the single phase capacitor start capacitor run induction motor for different values of capacitor and same frequency of voltage supply at no-load and full load condition with open loop and closed loop system. AC power from the mains is considered as a reference and multiple possibilities of a single inverter topology are fed to the same induction machine. The inverter used is a bridge topology with two bridges connected in cascaded connection. The multiple outputs can be derived from the same topology with variations in the switching strategy. The total harmonic distortions (THD) have analyzed in MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The present simulation work in closed loop system produces better result compare to open loop system.
