Modeling and simulation of one DOF flight motion table

In this article modeling and simulation of the one degree of freedom flight table is provided. This table is used as a missile roll axis motion simulator in hardware in the loop testers. Because of existence of some restrictions in design, it leads to use a dual drives system connected to a common mechanical load. State space equations of the table are extracted considering servo motor models. In addition to mathematical modeling, three-dimensional mechanical model is simulated using the SimMechanics toolbox of MATLAB software. In the following, the one degree of freedom designed table implemented in the laboratory. The motion profile of the one degree of freedom table is applied using the real-time part of MATLAB software. Finally, the results of software simulation is compared and validated with the hardware implementation.
