Low-orbit satellite image management system

The system presented in this paper is capable of extract information about cities in Mexico. These cities or objective areas are identified using a spatial database and open data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). The aim of this first version is to establish a data flow and process optimized in computational resources, quickly expandable in remote sensing algorithms and using open data standards. This version is build based on two remote perception algorithms: PM10 and Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI).
