Abstract:
The calibration of excitation pulses in the MRI systems is necessary for optimal image quality. There are available various types of calibration techniques. Most important of them are frequency, gradient offset, and flip angle calibration. All of these calibration techniques have a significant influence on the quality of acquired MRI images, mainly to their contrast, signal intensity and signal to noise ratio. In this study, we will analyze “Dual-echo calibration” technique.
