Shape and motion reconstruction with additional data

This paper describes and compares two techniques for jointly estimating the shape and motion of a 3D body using 1D orthographically projected range data. In the first technique, we use only range data; in the second, we add range-rate and change-in-phase information. We compare the two techniques, and show that unexpectedly, augmenting the range data with range-rate and change-in-phase information does not seem to improve the estimation quality.
