A hybrid algorithm application for the multi-size pallet loading problem case study: Lamp and lighting factory

This research considers a Distributor's Pallet Loading Problem with multi-size of boxes and pallets in a lamp and lighting factory. The objective is to find a loading solution that contain the minimum amount of used area by pallets. An application base on Genetic Algorithm and Differential Evolution Algorithm is developed to solve the problem. The results obtain by compare the application's solution to Human's solution from real problems. They show that the application's solutions are mostly better in both of used area and computation times.
