Methods for improving accuracy of non-invasive blood glucose detection via optical glucometer

Two groups of methods for improving accuracy of non-invasive blood glucose detection via optical glucometer are discussed. BG detection accuracy improvement is possible by using high-power laser diodes, thermal stabilization of light source and by combination of different measuring methods. Analytical methods of accuracy improvement are based on obtained data analysis and iterative algorithms for increasing statistical data volume. To provide a feedback between glucometer and insulin pump the mathematical model of blood glucose dynamics has been developed. The model is the basis of blood glucose prediction algorithm. Application of discussed methods increases measuring accuracy by more than 2 times.
