Simultaneous improvement of distortion of current and torque in induction motor by optimization of linkage flux distortion

This paper presents a closed frame for harmonics in space vector modulation technique. Optimization of induction motor parameters using a design inverter seems to be ideal. However, as inverter modulation system is of digital type, machine voltage and current involve many harmonics components. High number of harmonics in voltage and current leads to inability to use an analytical method for harmonics and THD studies unless only a small number of harmonics are considered, resulting in reduced accuracy. In this paper, optimization of stator linkage flux's harmonics effective function is proposed. Due to several advantages including limited number of elements and utilization of SVPWM modulation parameters (modulation index and magnitude of reference voltage vector), this function is used for harmonic analysis of induction motors' drive in space vector modulation (SVM). This function is obtained by accurate vector operations without any approximation, thus it has an acceptable accuracy verified by simulation results.
