Design of dual-polarized microstrip antenna for ITS applications

This article presents a high isolation two probes feed microstrip antenna for dual-polarization applications. The high isolation is achieved by placing a slot across the two probes. The antenna is designed to operate at the frequency of around 2.4 GHz. From the results are shown that, the antenna provides the isolation more than 30 dB and has a moderate gain 8 dBi. The results from this study will be applied for the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in further.
