Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of Proficiency Testing in EMC Conducted Immunity

Interlaboratory comparison is an important tool to evaluate the capabilities of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test laboratories. We recently developed a novel device that is able to assess the immunity test capabilities of laboratories according to IEC 61000-4-6 (conducted immunity). In this paper, we present the device itself as well as the outcome of an interlaboratory comparison with this new device. The results of this comparison are presented in all details: Evaluation methods, results, capability to identify faulty tests, and benefits for the participants.
