Valve response under influence of pH on an evapotranspiration model

The combination of two separate processes by which water is lost from the soil surface by evaporation and from the plantation by transpiration is referred to as evapotranspiration. Soil is rich with both micro and macro minerals and this results in soil pH reflecting acidic or alkaline nature. Therefore the water supplied to soil having pH component contributes to the pH value of soil. Too much acidic or alkaline nature of water, both will damage the crop with immediate effects of lesser yield and as a long term effect will bring down the soil fertility coefficient. From reference studies, we know that soil develops its acidic or alkaline nature based on several factors. To maximize yield from agricultural and plantation field, we therefore need to bring that balance for optimal growth conditions. This paper is divided into sections elucidating on different aspects involved in both the aspects. Section I provides a brief description of evapotranspiration equation as well as soil nature for agricultural consideration. Section II elaborates on FAO 56 Penman Monteith equation which practically forms the backbone equation for water loss and therefore water requirement evaluation. Section III will explicate in more detail about pH nature of soil and its effect on it. Section IV introduces pH model in the simulation model. Section V depicts the simulation outcome of the model response. Finally Section VI will draw conclusion regarding the expected and actual results obtained. And it is also worth mentioning that the results yield good output keeping congruency with the flowchart.
