Miniature injection-locked CW-magnetrons for portable and satellite communication systems

Miniature injection-locked CW-magnetrons are a possible alternative to TWTs or klystrons in such systems where coherency and narrow bandwidth are needed. These magnetrons offer compact size, high efficiency and long life. In some applications miniature magnetrons have advantages in comparison with transistor amplifiers.
