Proposal of a new family of high frequency isolated single-phase AC-AC converters

This paper proposes a new family of high frequency isolated single phase ac-ac converters. Three topologies of the proposed family are analyzed in face of voltage sag, nonlinear load and rms transformer current. All analyzed topologies present power factor correction, control of the DC-link bus and the output voltage. Among the studied topologies there is potential to reduce the number of switches employed in the standard industry solutions for voltage restorers.
