Double closed-loop decoupling control of three-phase three-wire bidirectional converter

In this paper a novel bidirectional converter for three phase three wire system is proposed. Usually, the converter work as the rectifier. When the BUS voltage exceed the set value, the converter will work as inverter. The feedforward decoupling control is used to optimize the dynamic response and immunity. The voltage loop design function and current loop design function are given. The voltage and current loop design were verified with the MATLAB SISOTOOL. The control strategy, using the line voltage information to realize the SVPWM, is also proposed. According to the intrinsic relationship of the line voltage and the phase voltage, the three phase three wire converter prototype model with MATLAB is produced to validate the proposed bidirectional converter. The simulation results validate the new bidirectional converter with the feedforward decoupling control strategy.
