Professional retraining of specialists in the high-tech industry on the example of new generation solar modules manufacturing

Solar energy should be recognized as one of the most promising environment-friendly renewable energy sources. Development of the solar power engineering in Russia is connected with the organization of a large-scale production of thin film solar modules on the base of amorphous silicon at the factory Hevel Solar. When the new branch of industry is formed it is necessary to do the professional training of specialists. In addition to the training of the students at ETU “LETI” the training of specialist of the highest qualification in the field of solar power engineering is conducted. At ETU “LETI” has developed a number of distance e-learning programs, such as “Thin film solar heterostructure photovoltaics” and “Technology and diagnostics of thin film solar modules based on silicon” aimed to provide professional retraining of specialists in the high-tech industry of new generation solar modules manufacturing.
