Image matching for target location in airborne optoelectronic pod

According to traditional airborne optoelectronic pod using geometric range and angle measuring method for target positioning error is large, this paper makes use of image matching to reduce the localization error, At the same time, this paper develops a VC++ based platform for image matching target location simulation experiments, Experimental results show that this method can improve precision of traditional target localization and for the engineering application of target positioning using image matching in airborne optoelectronic pod laid the technical foundation.
