Implementation of Automotive Inverter Power Supply

A design scheme of automotive inverter power supply based on PIC was introduced.12V DC of the battery, through boost converter and inverter, the 220V/50 Hz voltage was achieved. In the boost part, high-frequency transformer was used in the push-pull circuit, then the isolated high voltage was achieved, in the inverter, the SPWM technology was used, in order to ensure the output voltage within the setting range. The strategy that changing duty cycle based on output voltage was used. Additionally, the input voltage detection circuit, the output voltage detection circuit and the output current detection circuit were designed, and the hardware prototype was developed. The experimental results show that the inverter power supply operates steadily, and further verify the control strategies of the system are rational.
