Single ring resonator delays for integrated optical beam forming networks

An optical ring resonator (ORR) based 1 × 4 optical beam forming network is reported. The delay response of a ORR was measured and agrees well with the lossless theoretical model. The tuning of a ORR was calibrated and experiments were performed to verify the tuning accuracy.
