Development of a low frequency magnetic field and harmonic current meter

This paper presents results on the development of a simplified low frequency magnetic field/harmonic current meter that is easy to construct. The device measures the intensity of the most significant harmonics fields and, indirectly, the harmonic currents. This device can be used as, and is conceived as, an educational tool, assisting students while learning signal processing, power quality and electromagnetic compatibility.
