Blindness in a high-tech age [Design and Production Assistive Technology]

I AM MEETING Pavel at Hyde Park Corner station in London. He is standing patiently by the turnstiles with an iPhone glued to his hand waiting for me to find him. At 27, Pavel is a real technology geek, always excitedly blogging about the latest Apple gadgets, features and applications. Though a true member of the technologydependent generation Y, he still remembers how his life was before, and has agreed to talk to me about how profoundly digital technology has changed the world for him.
