IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits Through the Years: From Its Beginnings in 1966 until 2016

Discusses the history, creation, mission, and scope of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC). JSSC has documented the rapid advances and growth of the solid-state circuit field right from the start. The article by Don Pederson [2] reported on the 1966 origins of this journal and its evolution up to 1984. This article briefly recapitulates some of the early history and presents an account of the journal's progress since 1984.
