Vast compatibility program (vcomp) a uut requirements analysis tool

A new software tool has been developed for analyzing the compatibility between an ATE and the Unit Under Test (UUT) test requirements. The program accepts UUT requirements as encoded from a Test Flow Diagram (TFD) or a Test Requirements Document (TRD) and compares these requirements with the capability of a specific ATE. Many man hours are saved and interpretation of complex capabilities is simplified. For initial program development the ATE modeled was a fourteen rack VAST station. Program design, processing, outputs, future expansion, and use are described.
