Frequency characteristics of an atmosphere channel with multiply scattering of MMW due to rain

The multiply scattering effects which cause the amplitude and phase fluctuations, distortion of the pulse envelope are considerable when MM waves are propagated in rain. As is shown is [l],the coherence bandwidth of an atmosphere channel with rain is limited by some of MHz at the MMLI range. But the appreciable dispersion distortions were not observed in experiments on propagation of MMW-signals within the 1 GHz band in satellite and terrestrial paths [2].
