Execution time behavior of certain high level language constructs on a feedback data flow architecture.

This paper explores the behavior of certain high level language constructs when they are translated to a data flow language and executed on a feedback data flow processor. The better overlapped execution of iterations that may be obtained using repeat ... until construct compared to while ... do construct is demonstrated. The ease with which nested conditional statements can be processed on a data flow processor without using any special purpose processor is also demonstrated.
