Fully integrated MOSFET-C variable equalizer circuit with on-chip automatic tuning

A MOSFET-C variable bump equalizer with on-chip automatic tuning circuit was developed and fabricated in a 2 mum CMOS process. The center frequency (Wo), the gain at Wo (G), and the 3db bandwidth(BW) of the bump equalizer are independently programmed by external DC control voltage. A SC gain control loop is used to provide on-chip automatic tuning.
