Vehicles recognition from partial images

Vehicles recognition is important and can be used in many security applications. Towards this goal, we present in this paper a vehicles recognition system based on SIFT features and the use of SVM to classify the types of cars. A benchmark of pictures (BMW and Mercedes) was used to clarify the benefits of the proposed method.
