A Multi Objective Mixed Integer Programming Approach for Sustainable Production System

This study aims to develop a model for sustainable production system with optimization approach. Hence, Multi objective Mixed Integer Programming was identified as an appropriate method. A proposed model was formulated considering two objective functions which are to minimize the economic cost and to minimize the carbon footprint of the production system. A case study company was conducted to have numerical example of the model and also to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model. The results showed a Pareto optimal solution for the case study company.
