Dynamic soliton steering in AlGaAs waveguides for reconfigurable optical interconnects

We report the demonstration of the basic building block of an interconnect device that imposes electronically a phase chirp upon a spatial soliton, thus achieving controllable angle steering of the soliton and the signal beam guided within the soliton.
