After a long career in academia as a professor of psychology, John Valois turned to the world of art as his creative outlet. Valois' photography serves as the basis for much of his digital art work, but his final products often barely resemble the original photos. The conflicts and complementarities of our inner and outer worlds play a significant role in the content of his work.
