Recent advances in calculating space charge distribution by processing the signals obtained using the thermal step method

The main techniques used for calculating the distribution of remaining electric field and space charge density from the signals obtained with the Thermal Step Method are presented. A method of calculation based on matrix inversion with real-time temperature measurements is proposed.
