Fast synthetic genetic algorithm and its application to optimal control of reactive power flow

In order to solve slow convergence speed, premature convergence and large population and individual number of genetic algorithms, this paper proposes a fast synthetic genetic algorithm, and applies the algorithm to optimal control of reactive power flow. The effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by simulating the IEEE-30 bus system and a test electric power system and comparing with the optimal load flow method and simple genetic algorithm, the results demonstrate that the algorithm is more effective.
