Distribution System Design Using Computer Graphics Technique

This paper describes models for computer-aided distribution system design. It comprises primary distribution master planning, primary feeder routing, and secondary distribution system planning. The primary master planning is concerned with the preliminary location analysis of electric distribution facilities for planned development or redevelopment of areas. The purpose is to provide and evaluate goal design of subtransmission and primary substation system on basis of projected land use. The primary feeder and secondary system models are concerned with the more detailed distribution network synthesis at stages when more precise data about area growth and loads are available.
