Solution Of The Load Flow Problem By A Parallel Optimization Method

The Load Flow problem is treated as a minimization problem and is solved using a parallel nangradient optimization procedure similar to the one suggested by Chazan and Miranker. The algorithm is described and test case results are presented. A speed-up nearly equal to q is possible if a parallel computer with q processors is used for the solution of the problem.
