Membership function optimization of a fuzzy controller using modified tabu search algorithm

In this paper, a modified tabu search algorithm for finding the best parameters of fuzzy membership functions is introduced to overcome such difficulty in selecting suitable membership functions for input and output variables. The result obtained from the modified algorithm enables better performance than the results provided in the literature.
