Comments, with reply, on 'Identification of truncated narrow band autoregressive processes' by P. Burrascano et al

The commenter claims that there are both experimental and theoretical deficiencies in the paper by P. Burrascano et al. (see ibid., vol.74, p.1164-5, 1986) which he attempts to clarify. Experimental data presented in this paper contradict those presented previously. The theoretical deficiencies stem from a misapplication of previously published work. In replying, the authors explain the purpose of their contribution and of the ARMA (autoregressive moving-average) model proposed.<
