3D digital broadcasting system and IRD using progressive scanned digital broadcasting

This paper describes the newly developed 3D digital broadcasting system and the IRD (Integrated Receiver and Decoder) enabling the broadcast of the 3D images using high-definition progressive scanned digital broadcasting with additional simple functions.
