Analysis of nonuniform data flow over switch type event builders

Switch topologies are discussed in terms of graph theory. It is shown that nonblocking circuit switches can handle any requested data flow if the switch-controller is intelligent enough. It is also shown that most event builders do not need nonblocking switches to get high performance.
