DC electrical and mechanical characterisation of polypropylene film

In this paper we present results from experiments performed in order to characterise such a polypropylene film with respect to its electrical and mechanical properties. This involved studying the effect of temperature on the conduction current, DC electrical breakdown strength and the tensile strength.
