Mathematical model and software for the simulation of a hydro generator behavior at the full load sudden disconnection

Essentially the method consists in simulating the application of a negative step type perturbation at the AVR input stage equivalent to a full load sudden disconnection and in determining the override parameters. Further the paper presents an experimental test on the hydro generator from HPP Lereşti - Arges, causing a live full load sudden disconnection and determination of the same parameters. Finally, compare the experimental results and required values by international standards.
