Models and tools support to the Competitive Intelligence process

Today, Competitive intelligence (CI) became a multi-disciplinary field of studies having for main object the definition of the models and tools for the acquisition of the useful information starting from the environment of the enterprise whose objective is the support of strategic decision making. Our objective in this article is to present the models and the tools support to the CI process to propose a standard framework of a CI tool. In order to achieve this goal, we carried out a state of the art starting from the articles of research on CI field: Process, models and tools. Then, we analyzed these models and tools which supports the CI process in order to propose a classification of the latter. Moreover, we worked out a standard framework of a CI tool.
