Consumer interactivity with a Multi Media-system is a balance between Linear Play and actual Interactivity. This balance is different for TV-viewing, where interactivity means "zapping", and for CD-i use: CD-i fulfils more individual requirements. Within this trend, CD-i related definitions and requirements towards even more individualized performance is analysed and explained within the overall CD-i principles.
