Separation Of Temperature And Strain Measurands In Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors

The temperature and strain response of fiber grating sensors can be isolated using single or multiple gratings. The necessary diversity in the measurement can be achieved by using special coatings or dual-mode techniques. Analytical and experimental results illustrating these approaches will be presented.
