Design of reliable optical path networks that consist of large scale subsystem-modular OXC nodes

We propose a reliable optical path network architecture and a design algorithm that are suited to the recently proposed large-scale photonic nodes. They reduce necessary WSS number by up to 85.5% at the cost of 3.0% fiber increase.
