Direct coupling of cavity-resonator-integrated guided-mode resonance filter to a single-mode optical fiber

A small-aperture guided-mode resonance filter was designed and fabricated. Characteristics of the filter directly coupled to a single-mode optical fiber were measured. A narrowband reflection spectrum of 1.3-nm full-width at half-maximum was demonstrated.
