A Sensitivity-Based Method for Under-Frequency Load-Shedding

The shedding of loads under severe imbalance between the load and the generation is an effective way to maintain frequency stability of a power system. This letter presents an efficient sensitivity-based load shedding methodology to determine appropriate locations and amounts of loads to be shed.
