A conceptual ANN-ES scheme for power system security assessment and preventive control

This paper proposes a coupled Artificial Neural Network-Expert System (ANN-ES) scheme for on-line security assessment and preventive control of power systems. A conceptual scheme for this purpose is presented. Implementation is under way and full implementation details will be reported in future publications.
