Research on adaptive e-Learning system using technology of learning navigation

E-Learning system, as a great product of modern information technology, is an important way to implement education modernization. Many e-Learning systems have been developed in recent years. However, most of them are unable to organize and present education materials flexibly according to individual learner's knowledge basis and learning ability. Based on detailed research of the deficiencies in current systems' adaptability a new adaptive algorithm for adaptive e-Learning systems is designed and implemented , which is based on algorithm of the ‘Bayesian Network’. This paper introduces the designs of adaptive e-Learning system's prototype, adaptability diagnosing strategy and adaptive learning path strategy, designs of system functional models, business flow and data flow.
