A note on the moment method solution for the capacitance of a conducting flat plate

The calculation of the capacitance of a square plate by the moment method is a problem in which previous solutions have used direct numerical integration, or cumbersome closed-form expressions to calculate matrix elements. A simple closed-form expression for the matrix elements is derived which eases solution implementation.
