On the representation of transition matrices by possibility-probability granules

The possibility-probability granule approach to reasoning with uncertain information is reviewed. The unifying aspect of this approach is discussed, and its generality is extended by indicating how to represent and reason with relations between variables which are captured by transition matrices.
